DESCRIPTION:Core law focuses on recent changes to state and federal real estate license  law\, highlighting both law and rules. The Florida Legislature passes and  amends real estate law each year. Active or inactive brokers or salespersons  must take a 14-hour continuing education course during each 2-year license  period following the initial license renewal. This course meets the  prescribed 3 hours of core law continuing education. 3 hours CE credit.

Discussion will focus on NAR’s 2021 edition of Code of Ethics and Standards  of Practice as well as defining due process\, the functions of the Grievance  and of the Professional Standards Committee\, mediation\, and arbitration.  This course will also take you through hypothetical situations involving the  code of ethics\, arbitration\, and a full study of procuring cause. 3 hours CE  credit.
